Brendon Furness is the CEO of Cardinal Group, New Zealand's leading container, warehousing, and transportation operators.
With over 20 years of experience across logistics, financial and trade industries, Brendon deeply understands the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in today's fast-paced environment.
Prior to joining Cardinal, Brendon has been at the helm of companies across the globe, including Hall's Group, Meridian Energy, Walmart South Africa and First Rand Banking Group.
In his current role, Brendon is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Cardinal, ensuring the company delivers cutting-edge solutions and services to meet the growing demands of both customers and the industry. He is a passionate, active proponent of innovation, acting as a powerful tool for driving business growth and improving the overall customer experience.
Brendon holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Canterbury and is an avid tennis player, playing in Germany for several years, winning the World Masters 45-50 age group in 2017.
A visionary leader, Brendon is committed to driving innovation and growth at Cardinal. Under his stewardship, the company has continued to expand its footprint to become the first 3PL automated warehouse in New Zealand.
