Fay is an experienced global executive leader that thrives in challenging and transformative environments wishing to unlock their full potential by leveraging data, digital technologies or innovative reinvention of processes and operating models. Fay has over 30 years of experience working in the Resources and Business Consulting sectors. Fay has deep experience in business, operational and digital transformation. She has positively impacted profitable growth, productivity, safety and cost reduction as both a corporate executive and as an advisor to the C-suite.

Fay leads the Industry X business and Supply Chain & Operations for the APAC at  Accenture. Industry X supports the Manufacturing, Production and Engineering realms to improve and rethink their products, assets, and operations.

Previously as as the CIO at Rio Tinto, Fay transformed the Information Systems and Technology function into a key enabler of Rio Tinto’s business strategy. Driving improvement through digital, technological and organisational change, scaling and maturing the technology organisation and implementing disciplined digital thought leadership across the global footprint of this complex, asset-intensive enterprise.

This followed her success leading the Digital, Information Technology and Business Process landscape at Suncor Energy Inc., the largest Canadian oil & gas producer. At Sasol Limited, an energy and petrochemicals company, Fay transformed the Upstream oil & gas subsidiary before rationalizing and restructuring the core functions and systems across the entire Group.

Fay’s extensive consulting experience with global professional services firms began with Arthur Andersen in London and has taken her across the world, consulting primarily to the Energy, Resources and Utilities sectors. Fay has built and led industry and strategic transformation practices in various countries. Fay is a hands-on practitioner who enjoys strong relationships with her client base and her team.  Fay rejoined Accenture in 2021 as the Global Natural Resources Industry Leader and Growth Markets lead for Industry X. She has previously been the National Energy & Resources Consulting Leader at Deloitte Canada, a senior executive at Accenture in Canada and South Africa, where she led the Resources Industry Consulting.

Fay has experience working and living in many countries across the globe with their many diverse cultures and languages. Her work has necessitated liaison with and representation on company boards, governments, executive management teams and joint venture consortia.

Fay is married and has two teenage children. Her interests include exploring, cooking, gardening, the theatre, music and keeping fit. She is an avid swimming supporter, technical official and swim parent.
