What Next for a Future Made in Australia
Australia’s productivity performance is compromised now and into the future by a narrow trade and industrial structure, based heavily on the export of unprocessed raw materials. How will this be addressed by a second and possibly third term Labor government, committed to innovation and industrial policy? This talk will analyse Australia’s current position and possible strategic directions for sovereign manufacturing capability.
