Saar is the Global Director of Fulfilment Centres Automation at Ranpak Automation, leading global initiatives in next‑generation automation and sustainable packaging technologies.
Since 2021, he has worked with major industry players worldwide to advance end to end intelligent fulfilment, smart cubing, and high‑efficiency end‑of‑line systems.

Before joining Ranpak, Saar spent nine years at Catch, where he played a key role in scaling operations from a 1,200 sqm facility to two fulfilment centres totalling 100,000 sqm.

During this period, Catch became Australia’s first adopter of Autostore, implemented a KNAPP OSR Shuttle System, and deployed the largest fleet of Geek+ autonomous robots in A/NZ.

Known for challenging assumptions and driving continuous improvement, Saar promotes a culture of experimentation, innovation, and data‑driven decision‑making.

He holds a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from RMIT.

Saar is also a recognized industry voice, regularly appearing as a keynote speaker, panellist at global automation and supply chain events, and a guest lecturer at universities, where

he contributes to the development of future logistics and automation professionals.

His philosophy: “Question everything. Just because something is a certain way doesn’t mean we have to keep doing it that way.
