About Samuel
Sam is the Sustainability and Future Transport Manager at the Australian Trucking Association. He leads the ATA’s work on sustainability, zero emission vehicles and future transport.
In partnership with the Electric Vehicle Council, Sam co-authored the report Electric trucks: keeping shelves stocked in a net zero world, which provided an industry-led blueprint for accelerating electric truck use in Australia. He led the ATA’s endorsement of the global memorandum of understanding on zero emission trucks and established the ATA’s Industry Technical Council working group on zero emission vehicles.
Sam has spoken at Trucking Australia, the Technology and Maintenance Conference, and was a discussion leader at the Impact X climate summit. He has participated in a range of national, local and industry media interviews.
Sam has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies, is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia and the PIA NSW transport network.
