About Sandra:
Sandra is currently a key member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), where she contributes to the development of strategies that unite businesses, governments, and industries in pursuit of a circular economy for packaging. With over 30 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, Sandra has held leadership roles at Kraft Foods, Mondelez International, and Bega Cheese.
Her career began in packaging development, providing expertise across all food packaging mediums except aluminium cans. Sandra has led both domestic and international Research and Development teams, overseeing markets in Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, Europe, and South America. Her leadership spans multiple critical functions, including Packaging Development, Product Development, Process Engineering, Consumer Science, Regulatory Affairs, and Nutrition, supporting both local and global FMCG operations.
Sandra is deeply committed to advancing recyclability and sustainable practices in packaging. Her work focuses on supporting industry to create products and packaging solutions that align with sustainability goals while resonating with consumers.
